Libyan International Journal of Business Administration (LIJBA) is an academic peer review journal issued in 2017 by Faculty of Business Administration at Libyan International University previously known (LIMU).
The journal is concerned with all major contemporary themes in management and business-related studies. In specific, Management Science, Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, Project Management, Quality Management, Healthcare Management, Tourism Management, Economics,
Accounting, Finance and Banking, Political Sciences and business ethics are key themes for the journal.
Libyan International Journal of Business Administration (LIJBA) welcomes submissions theoretical and empirical studies from researchers and post-graduate students in any of these broad management areas. The editorial board encourages authors to adopt an analytical and critical approach in their writings.
Submission and Decision Guidelines
When you submit a manuscript via email, you will receive an automatic submission acknowledgement. The editorial board will send the manuscript to the relevant evaluators to assess the manuscript within a maximum period of 3 to 4 weeks. Authors will be notified via email once a decision has been reached, and will be notified again once the material is published on the journal website.
All submissions must be written in proper English Language. Submissions previously published elsewhere are not considered for publication, and authors must follow all ethical guidelines in their work. Any sign of plagiarism or self-plagiarism will result in paper rejection.
Manuscripts must be submitted as Microsoft Word files. The manuscript must be written in size 12 font, in Times New Roman, and double-spaced. Authors may use either a footnote or end-note system, and margins should be set at 2.5 cm all sides.
In addition, titles and sub-titles must be written in bold with capitalizing the first letter of each single word. List of references must be arranged alphabetically according to the author’s last name.
Finally, references should follow Harvard System for Referencing for books, journals, magazines, articles, official reports and online resources.
Each submission must be between 4000 to 7000 words maximum. It must include an Abstract with a maximum of 300 words. Introduction, research problem, research objectives, literature review and research hypotheses should be ordered sequentially. Data analysis, results’ discussion, limitations and future research should come next. All studies used questionnaires should attach copy of the instrument for further verifications. Tables and charts should be named and numbered sequentially from the upper side. References should be included within the 7,000 word-count limit.
Call for Papers (December 2017)
We are seeking submissions for the forthcoming issue published in December, 2017. All submissions should be made to Dr. Sabri Elkrghli, Dean of Business Administration and Editor in Chief of Libyan International Journal of Business Administration (LIJBA).
The editorial board for LIJBA has been carefully selected to include scholars from various disciplinary backgrounds and research interests. The board is currently headed by the dean of the faculty of Business Administration at the Libyan International University and head of the BSBA programme, Dr Sabri Elkrghli.
